Procedure

UMH researchers are required to inform the University about the results obtained from their research activities financed by public and private funding. Once the communication is received, the formal and substantive requirements are examined, and the procedures for protecting them begin.

PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  1. Communication of results to the OTRI
  2. Communication to the Governing Council Delegate Committee on matters of intellectual property and copyright.
  3. Elaboration and presentation of the patent application form
  4. Follow-up activities
  5. Communication of possible international patent extension

COPYRIGHT

  1. Communication of results to the OTRI
  2. Communication to the Governing Council Delegate Committee on matters of intellectual property and copyright
  3. Preparation of the necessary documentation
  4. Presentation at the National Copyright Office
  5. Follow-up activities
