Through the Communication of results, Annex I, the teacher/researcher informs about the development of software or other copyrighted work in the course of his/her research activities.

Once this notification is received, the OTRI staff proceeds to study both its formal and substantive requirements, which may be author participants, participation percentages, sufficient description of the software or the work developed.

Upon review of Annex I and all deficiencies that it may contain are corrected, the communication is referred to the Governing Council Delegate Committee on matters of intellectual property and copyright for its decision about the due protection.
